Seems like I'm having some problems wif bus 97. Damn You haha!!

    Switch (Bus Incident){

Case1: ok on 23Nov, I wait for bus 97 at the usual Shenton way bus stop @ 0815 for ET1000 exam and INCREDIBLY the bus took around 30 mins to reach which is @ 0840. Alright fine, but who knows when the bus is 2 bus stops away from the NUS, the bus GOT stuck and couldn't move; no matter how hard the bus driver step on the pedal, it just couldn't budged and I was already late.

Result: Late for exam 10 mins

Case2:On 24 Nov, i took the same bus 97 again this time in the afternoon. Having the pain of the cruel lesson from yesterday, I make an attempt to wait for bus earlier. I board the bus, but to my horror later, the bus driver was a "speeder". He simply just "dash" his bus like "chiong sua", got into numerous "close called" accidents with cars @ vivo city. I thought I was riding on a coaster roller. T_T What have I done to deserve such punishment.

Result: Got freaked out during EG1108==> Lost of exam combat capabilities.

Case3: Riding the same old bus 97 again. Giving up on the bus already. I ended up late again today from the lack of bus in the morning AGAIN.

Result: 15mins late for CS1101X and sit on the wrong table. Lost 18 painful marks from lost of time.

    Conclusion:BEWARE OF BUS 97!!!!!

    }Over and Out.

ok finally here's the best scorer for my webby games. Since he send his pics to me i promised to make him honor roll LOLz.

    Congrats HANS. You WON

Instructions: Answer all questions. Begin immediately. Time limit: 2 hours

Biology: Create life. Estimate the differences in subsequent human culture if this form of life had developed 500 million years earlier, with special attention to its probable effect on the English Parliamentary System. Prove your thesis.

Chemistry: Reproduce from memory the entire periodic table with all known values of physical constants to the limits of their uncertainties. For each element, discover enough new properties to correspond to each Greek and Arabic letter not in current use as symbols for physical constants. Use your data to formulate a new theory of science.

Cosmology: Define the universe. Give three examples.

Ecology: From readily available starting materials (i.e., "I think, therefore I am," and hydrogen), devise a total synthesis of the planet Earth down to the most subtle chemical detail. Discuss barriers that you would encounter in carrying out this synthesis and how you would overcome these barriers.

Economics: Develop a realistic plan for refinancing the national debt. Trace the possible effects of your plan in the following areas: Cubism, the Donatist Controversy and the Wave Theory of Light. Outline a method for preventing these effects. Criticize this method from all possible points of view. Point out the deficiencies in your point of view, as demonstrated in your answer to the last question.

Engineering: The disassembled parts of a high-powered rifle have been placed on your desk. You will also find an instruction manual, printed in Swahili. In 10 minutes, a hungry bengal tiger will be admitted to the room. Take whatever action you feel necessary. Be prepared to justify your decision.

Epistemology: Take a position for or against truth. Prove the validity of your stand.

General Knowledge: Describe in detail. Be objective and specific.

History: Describe the history of the Papacy from its origins to the present day, concentrating especially, but not exclusively, on its social, political, economic, religious and philosophical impact on Europe, Asia, America and Africa. Be brief, concise and specific.

Medicine: You have been provided with a razor blade, a piece of gauze, and a bottle of scotch. Remove your appendix. Do not suture until you work has been inspected. You have fifteen minutes.

Music: Write a piano concerto. Orchestrate and perform it with flute and drum. You will find a piano under your seat.

Philosophy: Sketch the development of human thought. Estimate its significance. Compare with the development of any other kind of thought.

Physics: Explain the nature of matter. Include in your answer an evaluation of the impact of the development of mathematics on science.

Political Science: There is a red telephone on the desk beside you. Start World War III. Report at length on its socio-political effects if any.

Psychology: Based on your knowledge of their works, evaluate the emotional stability, degree of adjustment, and repressed frustrations of each of the following: Alexander of Aphrodisis, Rameses II, Hammuarabi. Support your evaluation with quotations from each man's work, making appropriate references. It is not necessary to translate.

Sociology: Estimate the sociological problems which might accompany the end of the world. Construct an experiment to test your theory.

Extra Credit: Find the answer to the question of life, the universe, and everything.

A song/poem by Fred Saberhagen's Books of the Swords novels. Each parts of the poem describes the name the special powers of each of the Twelve Swords of Power. The pros and cons of the swords are hinted in the poem.

    THE SONG OF SWORDS

Who holds Coinspinner knows good odds
    Whichever move he make
But the Sword of Chance, to please the gods
Slips from him like a snake.

The Sword of Justice balances the pans
Of right and wrong, and foul and fair.
Eye for an eye, Doomgiver scans
The fate of all folk everywhere.

    Dragonslicer, Dragonslicer, how d'you slay?
Reaching for the heart in behind the scales.
Dragonslicer, Dragonslicer, where do you stay?
In the belly of the giant that my blade impales.

    Farslayer howls across the world
For thy heart, for thy heart, who hast wronged me!
Vengeance is his who casts the blade
Yet he will in the end no triumph see.

    Whose flesh the Sword of Mercy hurts has drawn no breath;
Whose soul it heals has wandered in the night,
Has paid the summing of all debts in death
Has turned to see returning light. ==>Woundhealer

The Mindsword spun in the dawn's gray light
And men and demons knelt down before.
The Mindsword flashed in the midday bright
Gods joined the dance, and the march to war.
It spun in the twilight dim as well
And gods and men marched off to hell.

    I shatter Swords and splinter spears;
    None stands to Shieldbreaker
My point's the fount of orphans' tears
    My edge the widowmaker.

The Sword of Stealth is given to
    One lonely and despised.
Sightblinder's gifts: his eyes are keen
    His nature is disguised

The Tyrant's Blade no blood hath spilled
    But doth the spirit carve
    Soulcutter hath no body killed
    But many left to starve.

The Sword of Siege struck a hammer's blow
With a crash, and a smash, and a tumbled wall.
    Stonecutter laid a castle low
With a groan, and a roar, and a tower's fall.

Long roads the Sword of Fury makes
Hard walls it builds around the soft
    The fighter who Townsaver takes
Can bid farewell to home and croft.

Who holds Wayfinder finds good roads
    Its master's step is brisk.
The Sword of Wisdom lightens loads
    But adds unto their risk.
